Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to attend all of the trainings offered? No, the trainings offered each month are the same! We wanted to provide a variety of time options to become campaign leaders. You only need to attend one of the offered trainings. If none of the provided times work for you, contact Miriam at miriam@challahforhunger.org.

The organization I am a part of is not a campaign sponsor, can I still attend? Yes! And we highly encourage your organization sign on as a campaign sponsor to build our campaign's base.

My campus or community doesn't have a Challah for Hunger chapter, can I still attend? Yes! You do not need to be an active member of a Challah for Hunger chapter to participate in or be a leader in the FUELHigherEd campaign.

How can I best prepare to attend the training? While no previous experience in being a part of an advocacy campaign is required, we recommend watching the FUELHigherEd Summer Series to dive deeper into topics like SNAP & College Students, Building Collective Power, and State Level Advocacy. In addition, spending time becoming familiar with the FUELHigherEd advocacy toolkits. These actions and how to lead your community in them will be covered more in depth during the training.
